Reviewing the Alvin and the chipmunks
Hello! My name is Catherine Wang and today I'll gonna review about the movie called '
Alvin and the chipmunks 2 '.

What's the basic story line?
Alvin is a big troublemaker. He is a superstar with his friends , Simon , Theodore. They
were busy because they needed to do eveyday a big concert. One day, while they were
doing a concert, the manager of the Alvin and chipmunks, (maybe the keeper) had a big
accident with his leg because of Alvin. So, Alvin and his friends moved to David the manag
er's cousin's house. They went to a high school and having a wonderful they at school. Al
vin, Simon and Theodore were popularity in school. They were the only one who can resc
-ue the the school's position. So they decided to go out at Music contest. However, it
was not that easy because there was a new chipettes ( girl chipmunks) group and they also
want to be on Music contest's stage. They made a battle each other so they choose who can
be on the stage. But at last, Alvin and the new girl group chipmunks sang together and
they got a prize and they rescue the school.
Are the characters believable?
Yes, I like the all Characters in this movie. I liked Alvin because he is the
mischievous troublemaker who makes the movie more funny and
interesting. I liked Simon because he is intellectual . He made a careful
choice and made a better future. Simon is the realistic. Also, I liked
Theodore because he is chubby and it looks cute . Also , he makes me
laugh and smiled. He is so adorable and cute!
On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being best), how would you rate this book?
I would rate this book an 8. I think director Betty Thomas knows what kinds of movies that chil
- dren likes. The idea of girl chipmunks was very good and interesting to me. This movie is a
kind of unrealistic but I really like it because, I can understand the happening and easily and
also, there were a kinds of action scence that makes me exciting. I'm recommended to
people who wants to make a good memory with your friends, family. If you watch this movie,
you will definitely want to look for the next series of 'Alvin and the chipmunks'>

The first time that I went on stage
Hello! I'm Catherine wang and today I'll going to write about narrative essay.
Experience new thing is exciting but nervous. For me, the most exciting experience was
the first time that I went on stage for speech contest . I went to a Englishcamp called
Sung Sil university camp. The Sung Sil university's auditorium was so big thatI can hardly
see a back side of the auditorium. When I was a third grade (Korean age), I
was having a big confidence of my self. I was thinking that I was a super girl and I was
thinking that I can do anything that I want. At winter vacation , I went to a sung sil university
camp. I really wanted to be on speech contest. I was full of passion in my mind. I went
to home and I practice a speech contest. I was doing a really hard on speech contest
even my older brother said : YOU 'RE A WORKAHOLIC!!! Anyway I dreamed about the
picture that I was standing on a stage, giving my speech very nicely.
Next day, my native teacher Miss Christina asked to our class about the speaker of the
speach contest. I raised my hand very straight to show Miss Christina that I'm really want t
to be a speaker. Every students gave a speech to our class to choose who will going to b
e out in speech contest. I very nervous because every did a great job. At that time I was
praying to god. Finally , the whole speeches were finished. Then than Miss Christina told
the representative speaker of speech contest. It was me!!! I was reall~~y happy. I was
looked like a crazy monkey who got a full of bananas.
It was the speech contest day. I was waiting at the front of the speech , practicing my
speech paper. The announcer say my name and I was on the stage. I felt like 1000 of eyes
was looking straight at me. I chew my mouth and it was bleeding. I pulled myself together
and start my speech. I chose three people and looked them around. Everyone was
listening to me. I tried to talk like that I 'm having a conversation with the audience and my
speech was finally end. My heart was pumping like a mad lion. My first experience on
stage was really cool , fantastic , wonderful and make me happy.
My first experience on stage was really good. But it was also scary and made me
paralyzed. This experience taught me that having a passion is very important.
I can be on stage because I had a passion about my self. Once again I learned that
having a passion is very good .

About my aunt!
Hello! My name is Catherine! Today, I will gonna talk about My aunt. My aunt is a middle sc
hool teacher. Her personality is very kind and nice but also scary and strict. Now, I will tell
you about my aunt specifically.
She is very nice person. She always gave me a snacks and cup of water when I'm reading a
book or doing a homework. She tiptoed when she is coming to my room to not alarm me.
She is a good cooker and she makes a delicious foods and always gives me a lot. So, I always
have a wonderful dinner when my aunt is staying in our house.
But sometimes she became very strict and angry. I liked to watch television very much. She get
angry with me when I'm not doing my homework properly and watching a television. Also, she is
very strict to me. She often said girls need to wear clothes neatly. So, she always fixed my shoelaces
and clothes when I'm going to school.
Even though my aunt is strict and scary,I love my aunt. She often scolding every time but, I knew
it a kind of love of me. Thus, I really like my aunt .
